Upon entering Lepigeon, one is immediately enveloped in a sense of familiarity and comfort, as if returning to a cherished memory. The staff at Lepigeon are incredibly welcoming and hospitable, making guests feel as though they are being hosted by old friends at a dinner party. Their knowledge and expertise in food and wine only adds to the overall experience. The small size of the restaurant only enhances the intimate and cozy atmosphere.
At Lepigeon, the menu is a fixed six-course meal that is updated regularly to reflect the freshest ingredients available, depending on the season. During my visit, the menu included the following dishes:
- Ox Heart beetroot, walnut jam, and bone marrow sabayon
- Glazed Grilled Prawn country ham, xo apple sauce, pimento rangoon, and mustard greens
- Foie Gras “Bacon" geoduck chowder, sunchoke, and sourdough (Supplement +25)
- Roasted Swordfish garlic tarte tatin, escargot, vermouth butter, and horseradish
- Black Truffle Beer Can Chicken stuffed shell, truffle alfredo, leek & chicken salad
- Almond Mocha: almond ice cream, chocolate mousse, and espresso crumble & Foie Gras Profiterole
I cannot recommend Lepigeon enough. Each dish was expertly crafted and absolutely delicious in its own way. The dessert was particularly outstanding, and I would gladly have it on every bad day to make it better. The entire experience at Lepigeon was worth every penny and I highly recommend visiting as soon as you can. Don't miss out on the opportunity to indulge in their culinary delights.
